The MDaudit™ team is busy developing new enhancements for version 3.0, due out this summer. This upgrade will include exciting new features such as:

• Provider-independent risk-based auditing
• Coding utilization analysis functionality
• Enhanced report creation and control

We are happy to report that we continue to receive high praise for the product. However, we are committed to continuing to enhance MDaudit™ based on user feedback. Our first MDaudit™ Users Meeting is in April, timed to coincide with the annual HCCA Compliance Institute in Chicago. Our development team is eager to hear our users’ detailed experience, and will document all ideas for future enhancements.

If you are not familiar with MDaudit™, it is a comprehensive software package that increases efficiency and accuracy while streamlining the time-consuming administrative tasks involved in the compliance audit process. MDaudit™ automates provider audit scheduling, case sample selection, documentation requests, refund/rebill instructions and report generation. It also provides standardized scoring and historical trend analysis so that compliance officers can receive timely feedback.
