Hayes Management Consulting continues to experience tremendous growth and we are looking to add key players to our Healthcare Technology Solutions team. We have offices in Newton, Massachusetts and Huntington Beach, CA.

The Database Administrator helps solve business problems for our customers by implementing technical solutions focused on system integration projects that improve their performance.

You will be responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer systems specific to system integration projects. Further responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, performing software upgrades, implementing disaster recovery plans, researching and implementing security and firewall strategies and developing network and security policies and procedures. Other duties may include scripting or light programming, and project management. The position requires up to 50% travel. Most Hayes employees work out of their home office and we only require that you are accessible to a major airport.

The successful candidate will have:

• 3 + experience as a systems and or network administrator in a healthcare IT environment
• Familiarity with programming languages, internet and intranet technologies and HCIT applications
• Hands-on experience with integration tools and technologies (like Ensemble, Azyxxi, Cloverleaf or SeeBeyond)
• Four year college degree or equivalent related work experience
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple, complex projects with high quality results
• A strong proficiency in common PC software applications
